Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite well-known. She was raised by her mom within the USA. Her childhood was filled with racist insults, she was made to feel unwanted. Her confidence began to grow at the age of nineteen when she entered a school audition. She was praised for her performance. It not only increased her confidence but her ambitions were changed. She attended the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. In 1993, she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played The Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC her role was given greater appreciation. A well-known performer, she has also recorded songs and plays. As an activist, she strives to promote LGBT equality.
