Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman ever to win her place in the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter, is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and celebrity journalist. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. In 2013 and 2017, she was awarded both the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and other siblings. Being a sports and exercising enthusiast from a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and received numerous medals. She first took part in 2009 in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively excellently in the first round. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years (as in 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. Annie did very well in the initial competitions and was in the top 10 out of 70. Although she didn't achieve any championships and finished the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She placed 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's supervision. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance, she was able to win the competition and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie took home in the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first female athlete to have had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. In 2021, she won a bronze. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie is currently a competitive athlete, has been featured in commercials for products that are used in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance sidekick Transparent Labs for Periodization as well as other. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel with a few thousands of subscribers. There, her training diet videos, family and travel vlogs are uploaded.
